Arthur Allen Manufacturing Company Incorporated has been a recognized name in the design and manufacturing of automotive products and memorial lights since 1958. The company was founded by John A. Lock Sr., John A. (Jack) and Rose Ann Lock carried on the tradition for several years, and now John A. Lock Jr. and Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Lock are continuing the tradition. Our original plant was in Chicago Illinois, in 1996 we built a brand new 17,000 sq. ft. plant in Elkhorn Wisconsin.
From its inception as a machine shop, that was started for the manufacturing of the Memorial light division, Arthur Allen expanded into the manufacturing of mechanical gear drive adapters, cable and component parts for many automotive applications such as odometers, speedometers, taxi meters, tachographs, distant measuring devices, material feed, speed switching and rate monitors.
We now offer a complete line of electronic transducer sending units and pulse frequency dividers that provide the same rugged quality and durability as our mechanical adapters. This makes them ideally suited for such markets as marine, automotive, truck, bus, aircraft, industrial and farm equipment. In addition to the design and fabrication of standard units, we are capable of producing many types of transducers, modified or custom engineered to your unique requirements. A wide range of adapters and extensions are also available.
We have also expanded our Memorial Light product line to include several different outdoor lights and some indoor lights that are perfect for Funeral homes, Mausoleums, Churches and Chapels. We offer our traditional light that burns a candle, and we now offer an electric lamp.
